Maxilles Lysou:
Centuries of Heritage

A documentary detailing the history of the centuries old recipe of dried figs (maxilles) that is only made and known in the village of Lysos, Paphos (Cyprus). The recipe and legacy of maxilles is now a part of UNESCO world heritage, which enabled the production of the documentary, detailing the process from start to finish. The documentary sheds light on the people, history and future of the village as much as the recipe itself.
